Are we one of the best places to work?

FL_0029This week I helped gather information for the  “100 Best Places to Work” survey question: 

What characteristics do you seek in prospective new employees, aside from the  skills needed to do their jobs?

Two major themes emerged:  It’s all about networking and knowing who you are looking for.  I shared my perspectives on how informal networking, referrals, and use of  tools, such as LinkedIn, are helping us recruiter types make more connections with our organization.  As for the knowing who you are looking for, first impressions are important, plus professionalism, confidence, attitude, and motivation level or passion.  But most importantly if the interpersonal skills are present, we can train on the insurance side.  Good luck Amfam!!  Hope we are in the Top 100 this year.
